This Back Bay landmark warms hearts this Valentine's day with fresh seafood dishes, and additions to their regular menu including a hearts of palm salad with blood orange vinaigrette, oyster Rockefeller with spinach, guanciale, and herbed breadcrumbs, pan seared wolf fish with black rice and grilled asparagus in a lobster newburg sauce, an eight ounce Filet Mignon with truffled pomme puree and a rich-and-dreamy raspberry chocolate tartufo for dessert.

Nothing says a luxurious evening out like some of the freshest seafood in the Hub, and chef Robert Sisca is planning some decadent menu additions to the menu, including a Tyee Ora King Salmon Crudo. Raised in New Zealand, this wagyu of salmon is so rare that the Banks is one of only a few restaurants serving this delicacy. Diners will also find a shareable surf and turf made up of a 32 oz.tomahawk steak and whole lobster, and a gin based Pink Lady cocktail.

One of Boston’s grande dames of fine dining, with breathtaking views of the Public Garden, Bistro du Midi is offering a romantic five-course prix fixe menu for $150 per person with an optional wine pairing for $90 on Valentine’s day. The French-inspired meal will include options like black truffle tagliatelle, filet mignon, ora king salmon, and chocolate moelleux.

Not quite ready to commit to a full Valentine’s dinner, but want to have a great time with someone who might be special? Head to this Harvard Square wine shop, owned and operated by award-winning sommelier, Bertil Jean-Chronberg, for a date night wine tasting. On Tuesday February 14, the shop is hosting a “Love and Luxe: Sparkling Wines, Caviar and Chocolate” event where they’ll experience decadent pairings of sparkling wines, caviar and chocolates. All guests will sample four different wines, accompanied with light foods. Tickets are available in advance.

Tuscan Kitchen’s Seaport location offers an authentic rustic Italian dining experience with handmade pastas and raviolis, fresh baked breads, and house-made salumi. And for Valentine's Day there are some special items on the menu like a beet salad, seared scallops’ main course and special strawberry and dessert. And don’t skip the $25 add on for a champagne toast!

For the sushi lover, Karma Asian Fusion is a fun choice for Valentine’s Day. From their mega sushi platters to fun tableside experiences like the “salmon on fire”, to the stellar cocktail list, your date is sure to have a great time. In addition to the standard cocktail, this month there is a limited-time addition worth trying as well, The Bésame! A blend of silver tequila, heavy cream, egg whites, yuzu and sparkling rose, it is a sweet treat to cap off your meal. So, if you are looking for a spot outside of Boston to book next week, Karma is a great choice.

Heading out to the Cape for a romantic weekend? Provincetown favorite Crown & Anchor is offering a “From Italy with Love” five course prix fixe dinner of traditional Italian dishes, wine pairings and entertainment from P-towns best local performers.

Sometimes, you just want to take your sweetheart for a proper pub dinner, and Boston’s newest Irish pub, The Dubliner, delivers all the cozy vibes you’re looking for on a romantic night out. For Valentine’s day, chef Aidan McGee is serving a sharable version of his famous beef wellington, along with the regular modern Irish menu featuring housemade soda bread, seafood chowder, fish and chips and of course, their mouthwatering shepherd’s pie made with lamb.

Reservations are a must for the $100 per person ($75 for vegan/vegetarian) meal, which includes the restaurant's signature small plates, such as stuffed dates, cod croquette, foie gras mousse, pork spiedini and more. Further courses include turbot in cartoccio, rye gnocchi and ribeye.

This cozy Newton Centre favorite is offering a special Valentine’s Day dinner of braised halibut, ribeye, chocolate caramel pot de crème and more. Don’t feel like dining in? Owners and chefs Kate and Trevor have created a Valentine’s dinner kit to go, featuring truffled hummus, braised short ribs, fontina risotto and more. Just order by February 10, and you can surprise your love with an almost homemade meal.

Another option if you’re heading out on the Cape, enjoy a seven course tasting menu all weekend through Valentine’s day from the region’s first and only Forbes Five-Star restaurant at the Wequasset Resort and Golf Club. Set in an18th-century sea captain’s home overlooking Pleasant Bay and the Atlantic, the $195 per person menu starts with a glass of Veuve Clicquot, and includes native lobster panisse, beef carpaccio, Atlantic halibut and ends with mascarpone cheesecake.

The way to their heart might be through their stomach, but a few red roses won’t hurt either. At Woods Hill Pier 4, chef Charlie Foster is pulling out all of the stops for Valentine's Day. The already romantic waterfront restaurant will be handing out roses to all diners, and serving some indulgent dishes for two – a shellfish platter, butter poached lobster, and molten chocolate cake – in addition to their regular menu. The restaurant also has a coveted selection of Club Champagne (the highest tier of classification that grower champagnes can achieve) to make an extra special evening.
