Logan Square is rife with cocktail bars, but in case you've blown through all the bars in the neighborhood (we applaud you) or want to start your day off a little earlier, Heisler Hospitality (Pub Royale, Queen Mary Tavern, Sportsman's Club and others) is preparing to debut yet another spot to grab a drink in the area. Estereo (2450 N Milwaukee Avenue) will be an all-day bar and café, open daily at 11am.

The bar will have a Latin American vibe, featuring roll up garage doors and a triangle-shaped bar with 25 seats. Music will play an important role at Estereo, with a mix of Latin and Caribbean tunes, all played on vinyl.

The group has recruited Ben Fasman (Sportsman's Club, Big Star) and Michael Rubel (Lone Wolf, the Violet Hour) to create a list of ten cocktails focused around Latin American spirits like pisco, cachaca, mescal, tequila and rum. The menu is expected to change frequently, but Estereo will have a house highball with yerba mate, Falernum, soda and lime that you can pair with your spirit of choice. The bar will also serve Victoria by the can, four draft beers and one cider.

Because the bar will open so early each day, guests will also be able to grab coffee provided by Dark Matter, in case you need a cup before moving on to the cocktail menu. There will also be a selection of sweet and savory house-made snacks. Estereo is scheduled to open on July 7.
