Ever since Chance the Rapper announced his Magnificent Coloring World Tour last month, the details surrounding the Chicago date have remained a mystery, leading us to believe that Chance and his team were planning something extra special for his homecoming performance. This morning, our suspicions were confirmed when Chance announced that he's not just playing a concert in Chicago, he's bringing an entire one-day music festival to U.S. Cellular Field.

The event, called Magnificent Coloring Day, will come to the home of the White Sox (Chance's favorite team—he designed hats for them) on September 24, boasting a lineup that includes EDM heavyweight Skrillex, R&B singer John Legend and Odd Future leader Tyler the Creator. Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert and special guests are also scheduled to perform, leading up to a headlining set from Chance himself.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10am and will run from $35–$150, before fees and taxes. While Wrigley Field hosts several concerts each summer, non-baseball events at U.S. Cellular Field are more of a rarity, which makes Magnificent Coloring Day an even more momentous occasion.
