For those of you tempted to bar hop at the Chicago Athletic Association (don't worry, we're right there with you), you'll have another one to check out June 10–26. The Cherry Circle Yacht Club (named after the Chicago Athletic Association's own former yacht team and after the boat, the Cherry Circle) is popping up in the hotel's ground floor space, the Tank, that used to be the pool this month.

Expect vintage furniture and maritime decor from Johalla Projects and Ship to Shore Productions. Land and Sea Dept.'s (Cherry Circle Room, Game Room, Lost Lake and others) beverage director Paul McGee will be in charge of cocktails focused on historical and nautical drinks, and you'll also be able to throw back beer from Anchor Brewing or champagne from Moët-Hennessy.

Special events will take place throughout the pop-up, with more details to come. On June 16 at 7pm, Ship To Shore will host a storytelling series with Zachary James Johnston, the Ship To Shore co-founder and sailing photographer, alongside Great Lakes surfer Mike Killion.

The pop-up will be open through June 26, Thursday–Saturday 5pm–midnight and Sunday noon–5pm. Hours will be extended in conjunction with the America's Cup race June 10 5pm–midnight, June 11 noon–midnight and June 12 noon–10pm.
