Google is giving away free Home Minis and doughnuts on Michigan Avenue today

To celebrate the launch of the Home Mini, a hands-free assistant device, Google is traversing the country with a millennial-pink pop-up doughnut shop. The Chicago outpost debuted yesterday in Pioneer Court (435 N Michigan Avenue) and will remain open today from 10am to 6pm before hitting the road.

Once inside, guests are invited to interact with the new doughnut-sized device (see what they did there?) and push a button to win either a free Home Mini or two pastries from Stan's Donuts. An estimated 250 gizmos will be given away today in Pioneer Court; each carries a retail value of $49. 

Of course, the runner-up prize isn't too shabby either—we're certainly not above standing in line for free doughnuts. Speaking of that line, be ready to burn your entire lunch break waiting for a chance to win. Take a look at scenes from the pop-up shop below.
