Beloved Chicago restaurant Hot Doug's closed its doors more than a year ago, but Doug Sohn's famous encased meat creations are still available periodically. Last summer, a stand at Wrigley Field began serving some of Hot Doug's signature sausages; more recently, Publican Quality Meats hosted a Hot Doug's pop-up, offering some of Sohn's classic menu (including those delicious duck fat fries).

Now there's yet another place to get your Hot Doug's fix…if you're willing to hop on a flight to Mesa, Arizona. Eater Chicago reported that Hot Doug's sausages will be served during the Cubs' spring training exhibition games at Sloan Park between March 4 and 30. According to the report, the menu will include some of the best-selling items from Wrigley Field—all named after notable Cubs players of the past.

That's not the only Chicago delicacy making the trip to the self-proclaimed "Wrigleyville West": Portillo's will be serving up the same Italian beef that you'll soon be able to enjoy at the chain's second location within Chicago.

Can't spring for the trip to Arizona to enjoy some delicious meats? Don't worry—rumor has it that Hot Doug's Dog Dayz of Summer event will be returning for a second round of copious sausage consumption this summer.
