If you've always wanted a do-over on prom night (terrible date, regrettable dress, even more regrettable hairdo), Lincoln Tap Room has you covered with just the thing. The Lakeview bar is hosting an adults-only, ’80s-themed Vegan Prom on Saturday, June 3 from 7 to 11pm.
The third annual event is presented by Chicago VeganMania, a vegan food fest in Edgewater, and includes finger foods, music, a photo booth, a cash bar and a raffle. Guests are encouraged to dress up, but spectacularly terrible prom garb isn't required to attend. May we suggest Chicago's best thrift stores for the occasion? Tickets for the 21-and-up event can be purchased at the door for $20.
Bonus points: There's no need to spike the punch and you won't have to suffer through hours of cliche photos at the hands of your parents (unless you really want to).
