Halloween costumes aren’t just for people—they’re also for some of your favorite bars, as recent announcements by the likes of Moneygun and Emporium’s pop-up have demonstrated. For the remainder of October, Replay Lincoln Park is making dreams come true for fans of The Simpsons by recreating Springfield’s premier dive bar, Moe's Tavern.
Outside the bar, you’ll find the familiar Moe’s sign and checkered green and red decorations on the windows. Inside, the staff has decorated Replay’s bar with Springfield Isotopes flags, a mirror and a jar of pickled eggs. The bar's Simpsons games and pinball tables are all set to free play if you need to sift through even more references to the classic animated series.
Since you're in a bar, you'll probably want a drink, including one of "at least a dozen" varieties of Duff beer, which look suspiciously like existing beers served in a themed koozie. Specialty cocktails are also available, with drinks like the Flaming Moe, Red Squishee and a Coffee and Donut concoction (served with a real doughnut).
You'll be able to stop by Moe's and sit around with Lenny and Carl through October 31 during Replay's regular hours. Of course, there's already a Moe's Tavern in Avondale that operates with a loose Simpsons theme year-round. Check out some photos of Replay's take on the bar below.
