What better way to celebrate the beginning of summer than to get as physically close to the sun as possible? Thankfully, the 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck atop the John Hancock building is making our dreams a reality by hosting an overnight event on the summer solstice (June 21).

General Admission ticketing starts at a cool $94, with VIP tickets at $360. For that price, we’ve got to imagine VIP attendees get to sleep in Tilt. Tickets include a complimentary dinner of the most cliché Chicago eats imaginable: Deep dish from Lou Malnati’s, Garrett’s popcorn, beer from Revolution Brewing, plus additional games and entertainment. So, if you have less than 12 hours show someone Chicago, this sleepover might be a good place to start.

The price is steep, but between viewing fireworks at Navy Pier and a sunrise over Lake Michigan, this is certainly a one-of-a-kind experience. The event says it’s perfect for “photographers and Instagrammers,” so presumably, anyone with a smartphone is welcome.

100% of the funds raised through the sleepover will benefit My Block, My Hood, My City. The organization gives underserved Chicago teens the opportunity to explore new areas of the city. Learn more about the non-profit here.
