Congratulations on making it through the work week, Chicago! Since summer weekends in the city were made for day drinking and bouncing from street festivals to the beach and movies in the park, we've been on the hunt for just the right beer to accompany us. Thankfully we found Temperance Beer Company's Greenwood Beach Pineapple Blonde, which is the perfect fit and, at only 4% ABV, it's the kind of beer you can sip alllllll day long.
This light, but flavorful beer doesn't pack the same overly-fruity flavor a lot of radlers do, but instead has just a hint of refreshing pineapple. If you're up for the trip to Evanston, the tucked-away brewery is a fun spot to spend an afternoon drinking beers and playing shuffleboard; otherwise you can find the brews throughout the city. Even the can screams summer and begs for you to throw a six-pack in the cooler and take it with you to the beach, which is precisely what we recommend you do once the rain clears this weekend.
