Today is a very important food holiday—it's National Oyster Day. The city is riddled with places to get $1 oysters, but loosen your belts, kids, because today is a day to slurp down these briney bites and throw back some beers. We've rounded up the best spots for all-day oyster specials, so you can get your hands on these bivalves and celebrate.
Chop Shop: There's a one-dozen limit, but see how many $1 oysters you can grab all day long, washing them down with $5 slushies from 4–6pm.
Cold Storage: The popular happy hour spot will be serving up $1 oysters and $3 beers all day. For every 100th oyster ordered, Cold Storage will serve one golden oyster and comp your check (at the time of ordering) if you get it.
Frontier: Oysters and rosé on Frontier's patio from 5–9pm sounds like an evening to us. Grab $1 raw oysters, $2 grilled oysters and $5 glasses of rosé and rosé slushies for the night.
GT Fish & Oyster: Guests will enjoy half-off oysters all day long for $1.50–$2 per shell.
Honey's: Love rosé? Honey's will serve up three chef's choice oysters with cucumber, melon, apple vinegar, macadamia and basil with a class of txakoli rosé for $15.
Hubbard Inn: Grab $1 oysters all day long in addition to raw bar specials like the $2 shrimp cocktail from 3–6pm.
Smack Shack: All day long, Smack Shack is offering $1 chef's selection oysters.
