It's a magical pink paradise.

Hello Kitty has a new home in the Loop—and we're obsessed.
Stepping into the just-opened Hello Kitty Cafe, at 360 N. Michigan Ave., is like entering a dreamy pink paradise where Hello Kitty and her friends spend their days sipping strawberry lemonades and snacking on bow-shaped sweets.

Spanning 8,000 square feet across two floors, it's the largest Hello Kitty Cafe in the world, beating out other cafes in Las Vegas and California.
Guests can snack on confections like cupcakes and bow-shaped waffles on the outdoor patio, or indulge in a latte or tea in the main floor's cafe space.
Downstairs, afternoon tea service is hosted in the 50-seat Bow Room, a bright-pink space hidden behind a secret door that's decked out with photo booths, Hello Kitty wallpaper and decor, and custom artwork depicting Hello Kitty and her friends at iconic Chicago locales.
Guests can also shop Chicago-exclusive merch like mugs and water bottles, totes, plush toys and apparel, and use the token-operated Gashapon machines.
Hello Kitty Cafe is open daily from 10am to 8pm. Reservations are required for afternoon tea service in the Bow Room, which is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 3pm.
