If you haven't found the time to jump into a giant ball pit situated in front of an inflatable double rainbow or step inside the world's largest indoor confetti dome, you're in luck. While the the Chicago iteration of the Happy Place pop-up was originally scheduled to close on Monday, August 6, organizers have decided to extend the experience's stay in the city. Now, you'll be able to snap photos with gigantic stilettos made out of candy or in a tub surrounded by rubber ducks through Labor Day weekend, when the exhibit is scheduled to close on Monday, September 3.

Now that Happy Place is sticking around Chicago until early September, it will find itself competing with the wndr museum pop-up exhibition, which opens on August 17 and will host one of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Rooms. Tickets for the first two weekends of wndr museum's indeterminate stay in Chicago are currently sold out, which could position Happy Place as an alternative for anyone seeking some spectacular selfie backdrops.

Admission to the Happy Place experience ranges from $30 to $35—tickets for the pop-up's newly expanded run will go on sale later this week via the Happy Place website
