1. David Bowie tribute band Sons of the Silent Age play Metro, paying tribute to the departed musician with a concert dedicated to his "Berlin trilogy" of albums. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $22.

2. Each week, the Neo-Futurists present The Infinite Wrench, a collection of short plays and sketches that can be funny, poignant or totally absurd. The show takes place at the Neo-Futurarium at 11:30pm and advance tickets are $20.

3. The Griffin Theatre presents Violet, a musical that follows a 25-year-old woman's journey from the hills of North Carolina to Oklahoma. Tickets for the 7:30pm performance at the Den Theatre are $42.
