Robb Report’s annual list focuses on the most eye-catching spots that opened in 2025.

Robb Report named two Chicago newcomers in its annual Most Beautiful New Restaurants in America for 2025 list, placing them alongside buzzy openings in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and beyond. The Chicago picks, Adalina Prime and Crying Tiger, might have completely different vibes, but they both boast designs as stunning as their menus.
Adalina Prime lands at number seven on the list. Located in Fulton Market, the 10,500-square-foot steakhouse goes big, literally. Designed by Dunne Kozlowski, the space features towering ceilings and curved wooden beams that Robb Report likened to a cathedral. Walking in, you can't help but payse for a good look before turning your attention to the menu. Jewel tones, bold chandeliers and patterned chairs soften the scale, while a dramatic indoor-outdoor atrium brings in light and movement. There’s even a two-story wine cellar hidden inside. According to the outlet, Adalina is "filled with both warmth and drama, putting a fun twist on the classic steakhouse design."
Ranked number nine, Crying Tiger, the River North restaurant opened in October on Hubbard Street, stands out for its vibrant design. Robb Report compares it to a Southeast Asian night market, making the experience feel like a journey. Designed by David Collins Studio in collaboration with Lettuce Entertain You, the space leans into "bold patchwork patterns," statement drapery and lighting inspired by a traditional Korean textile technique. Rich colors and layered textures create constant visual movement, while subtle industrial touches nod to Chicago’s architectural roots. Between the food and the atmosphere, it’s easy to forget you’re still in the Windy City.
The three restaurants that topped the overall ranking are Marcus DC in Washington, D.C., Huso in New York City and Stock and Bond in Minneapolis. Find the full list here.
