Zagreb may be getting a new flight path this summer linking it with Dublin, courtesy of Croatia Airlines. At the moment there are no flights linking Zagreb with Dublin at all, though Aer Lingus does fly from Ireland to Dubrovnik, Split, and Pula

The new flight path would provide for the growing number of Irish tourists coming to Croatia for the summer, and also for the sizeable community of Croatians living in Ireland.

Over the advent period of 2016-17 Croatia Airlines tested out a route between Dublin and Osijek, though they decline to discuss their plans for the Zagreb to Dublin route until nearer the summer.

The company has revealed some of its plan to expand certain routes on offer for the summer this year, for instance by increasing the number of flights from Zagreb to Skopje, Rome, St Petersburg and Tel Aviv. There will also be more connections available between Dubrovnik and Munich, and Split and Copenhagen.

RECOMMENDED: things to do in Zagreb.
