The main city of Northern Dalmatia, Zadar is going from strength to strength. Thanks to its attractively historical old town, imaginative outdoor art and a small crop of cool cafés and cosmopolitan restaurants, Zadar is growing ever-popular as a summer destination. Beyond visiting the city itself, Zadar 's location boasts easy access to swathes of unspoiled beaches, jaw-dropping national parks and historical hamlets across Northern Dalmatia.

Last summer, Zadar Airport quoted a record amount of traffic through its doors; 589,000 passengers. This season, Zadar Airport will welcome five new airlines and ten new flight routes.

The new airlines include Aegean Airlines, Norwegian Air, Germania Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Condor from Frankfurt, connecting Zadar with Athens, Oslo, Zurich, Brussels and Frankfurt.

Ryanair is starting flights from Frankfurt, Memmingen and Bremen and Luthfansa is introducing a route from Frankfurt that will run twice a week during summer. easyJet is establishing a flight route connecting Zadar with Germany via its new Berlin route starting July 27.
