Bangsar Book Club

This month the book club will be discussing ‘King of The Sea’, Dina Zaman’s collection of short stories. The book has been in the works for 13 years, beginning as Zaman’s coping method for homesickness while she was pursuing her Master’s degree at Lancaster University. The stories are whimsical, and tell of love, grief, loss and longing – a missing child returning as a chicken, a young man marrying a jungle spirit, a ghost who calls himself the king of the sea.
