DiverseCity: Daliso Chaponda

This Malawian funny man had his first standalone comedy show in Canada, ‘Feed This Black Man’, and when his Canadian visa couldn’t be renewed, ‘Don’t Let Them Deport Me’. When all else failed, he performed a final sold-out show titled ‘They’re Deporting Him Anyway’. Having studied in Canada, worked in South Africa and now based in the UK, Daliso butchers cross-cultural differences with his signature wit and cynicism. This show is part of the Kuala Lumpur International Comedy Festival 2015 by DiverseCity.
