Chef Ameya Thakur from the Oberoi Mumbai hotel in India takes over the kitchen at Mosaic to present two rotating menus of authentic Indian cuisine. Dine on starters like patrani macchi (fish wrapped in banana leaf), pyaz pakodas ki chat (sliced onion fritters) and kekde aur dal ki tikki (griddled crab and lentil cakes). When it comes to the main course, you'll be spoilt for choice with murgh biryani, tandoori jhinga kali mirch (clay oven roasted prawns), seekh kebab and vegetarian dishes like bhindi do pyaza (stir fried young okra). Dessert selection includes mango phirnee (chilled basmati rice flour pudding), sooji aur akroath halwa (semolina and walnut pudding) and gajrela (slow cooked grated carrots in reduced double cream milk).
