Alexis Bistro presents Najwa Mahiaddin

When New York-based Najwa performs at Alexis, don’t expect to get too much of that R&B and neo soul sound she debuted back in 2011. After going on a three-year hiatus to pursue a music degree at Berklee College of Music, the award-winning songstress’ new 'Aurora' EP features a more mature, sombre vibe as heard in her first single ‘Seri Mersing’, which blends ghazal folk with contemporary orchestration.
