Il Dolce & Il Tormento

The eight-member Wicked Music People group brings you a concert featuring the classical works of Claudio Monteverdi, Francesco Cavalli, Francesca Caccini, Barbara Strozzi and more. The concert will highlight the musical styles of early Italian barouque where artistic expression is exaggerated but clear and easily interpreted to produce drama and tension.
