If plates heaving with German sausages and smoked salmon served with apple sauce are your thing, then head to the German Fest buffet dinner at Cinnamon Coffee House this October. Expect starters like grilled sausage salad with sauerkraut, creamy German coleslaw, braised cabbage and cocktail sauce, and beef brisket topped with cheese. Don't spoon too much coleslaw on your plate though; save space for main dishes such as lamb meatball in capers sauce and parsley, paprika pan fried potatoes, slow braised short ribs, and white fish fillet with lemon and dill cream sauce. End the feast with black forest cake, apple strudel, blueberry flan, peach streusel and Mohr im Hemd, a type of Austrian steamed cake.
