Satisfy your sweet tooth with a delectable Coffee Mascarpone Cake at Melting Pot Café. Priced at RM 20 per slice, this mascarpone-topped cake has a light vanilla sponge base and is coated with a chocolate glaze that makes it a treat for both the eyes and taste buds.
At Xroads Xpress, start the day with a fluffy croissant sandwich with poached egg. The set comes with a choice of coffee, tea or juice (RM14) and is available from 7.30am-9.30am on weekdays. For lunch, this month’s specials are a Chicken Carbonara Crêpe and a Smoked Salmon Benedict Sandwich (RM27, available weekdays 11am-6pm).
For a hearty dinner, the Mongolian Hot Plate buffet at Melting Pot Café is a great choice with a tempting spread of meats (including beef, chicken and lamb), seafood (like fish, squid and prawns), vegetables and bread. Diners simply have to take their pick and watch as the chef prepares the meal.
Of course, with Chinese New Year just around the corner the seasonal specialties are not to be left out. Xin Cuisine is offering yee sang with various toppings, including the restaurant’s new fruity version. There will be three Prosperity menus available throughout the festive period, and will include traditionally home-cooked dishes like Top Shell and Wolfberry Soup, Steamed Fresh Pomfret and more. The chef’s specialties include braised pork knuckle and braised golden oyster.
