The yellowfin tuna is commonly served as sashimi – not at Makan Kitchen though. The restaurant is presenting five different yellowfin tuna dishes done Malaysian style: tuna tartare kerabu with tanghoon, tuna umai with mango salad, grilled tuna tikka skewers, torched tuna belly with garlic soy vinaigrette and tuna nyonya laksa. Besides the tuna dishes, an array of fresh seafood will also be available as well as Makan Kitchen’s usual spread of Indian, Kristang, Chinese, Malay, Peranakan and Iban dishes.
