Contractions

Written by Olivier Award-winning Mike Bartlett, ‘Contractions’ is a dark and comedic play about the modern corporate policies on sexual relationships in a workplace. In the play, Emma engages in a sexual relationship with her colleague Darren, which is in violation of the company contract. Her manager presents her with an ultimatum which lets her keep her job if she halts all relationships with Darren, but things take a turn for the worst as she finds out she is pregnant.
