Landscape painting is one of the mainstays of traditional art. Three contemporary artists – Isabelle Cornaro, Jessica Warboys and Giulia Piscitelli – reimagine the art world's enduring fascination with the great outdoors, making use of maps, myths and materials borrowed straight from nature. The exhibition includes Warboys' formidable 'Sea Paintings', created by dipping canvases into the ocean and spreading mineral pigments into the salty, wet fabric. Unframed, the pictures hold onto their watery qualities by looking like they drip down the walls and onto the gallery floor.
