Time Out says

From studio portraits of David Bowie to a selection form the Private View series; Snowdon's creative breadth is explored.

The British photographer gifted 130 of his prints to the National Portrait Gallery 2013. Here, a selection of his studio portraits from the 1950s to the 1990s that includes music legend David Bowie and acting royality Laurence Olivier will be displayed alongside pics from the Private View series that put the 1960s British artworld in front of the lens. Curated by Helen Trompeteler in close collaboration with Snowdon’s daughter Frances von Hofmannsthal, the show reveals Snowdon’s creative breadth from fashion and society shoots to documenting social culture.
