You might already know of the challenging team activity that's flourishing in weird little rooms all across London – escape games see you and your friends attempt to crack codes and work together to escape from a room you've been locked in before your time (usually an hour) runs out. A pair of enthusiasts have been solving puzzles under time constraints the world over with the aim of creating their very own altogether more magical incarnation right here in London. And it'll be a dream come true for anyone who feels they weren't meant for the muggle world; the first game to open at Enigma Quests will see visitors attend a school of witchcraft and wizardry. You'll face a potions exam, learn about ancient runes and try out some charms before receiving a grade at the end based on your time and performance (aim for 'Outstanding', pray you don't get 'Troll'). They're currently offering reduced rates for beta testers, so sign up now if you'd like to be among the first to be enrolled.
