London International Mime Festival 2013: Simone Riccio

Banish thoughts of Marcel Marceau knock-offs trapped in invisible boxes: this festival dating back to 1977 offers wordless work from around the world involving everything from puppetry and animation to circus skills and new technology, including many UK premieres. In 'Nothing Moves If I Don't Push It', London-based Italian circus-theatre artist Riccio uses acrobatics, German wheel and Chinese pole to tell the story of a man with a lust for life and something to prove but a talent for messing things up.
