Time Out says

Friends, this inspired little number of a party is what London is lacking. It is, of course, an album art breakdance-off. What this means is that you pick an album cover, build yourself an amazing outfit based on the artwork, and then represent said album on the dancefloor in any damn way you see fit.

Imagine the possibilities... Andy Warhol's banana from The Velvet Underground's self-titled album vs. the crab from The Prodigy's 'Fat of the Land' vs. the metal-masked rap warrior from Madvillain's 'Madvillainy' vs. the (very) cheeky duet on the cover of Wasnatch's 'Front to Back', perhaps...? (Google it – just not at work)

To set the mood, DJs will be spinning tunes from the chosen albums and mixing in the relevant music videos as an audiovisual treat – let the organisers know what album and costume you've chosen beforehand on the event Facebook page so they can select the relevant tracks, and you're set.

And don't think you can get away with being all aloof and  observing quietly from the back of the room without a costume – it's no outfit, no entry. Trust us, it'll be way more fun if you dive into this one headfirst. Plus, there are prizes for the best outfits and dance moves.

So, get creative and get ready to dance your way into a whole new club experience in spectacularly fun style.
