Shoreditch clubbing institution XOYO continues its residency run, bringing in some of the very finest DJs from the UK to act as resident weekly selectors and curators for the club throughout 2014.
After storming three-month sessions from Eats Everything, The 2 Bears and Jackmaster, rave giants Simian Mobile Disco have been announced as the next artists to res it up. Known for their colourful take on techno, house, disco and acid, SMD have been smashing dancefloors around the world for years, through tracks such as 'Sleep Deprivation' and 'It's the Beat' in early years and '10,000 Horses Can't be Wrong' in later years, also dipping into killer pop melodies along the way.
It's a very safe bet that SMD's XOYO run will be an electronic extravaganza that's as kaleidoscopic and genre-straddling as their own musical career. Some of the awesome guests they've secured for the series include Factory Floor, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Matthew Dear, Boddika and many more.
