Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: Agua

A major season of works by pioneering choreographer Pina Bausch. Part of the Cultural Olympiad, the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: World Cities 2012 season will see ten works performed over one month, each produced during a residency in a different city in the world between the years 1986 and 2009 – the year of Bausch's death. Bausch plays against type in the Sao Paulo-inspired 'Agua' (2001) where the usual Germanic angst gives way to sexy, sunny exuberance and lots of dancing.
