TAO Dance Theatre

A UK debut from China's TAO Dance Theatre, called 'the most exciting name in modern dance' by our friends at Time Out Beijing. The company performs two works: the minimalistic '2', danced by founder and artistic director Tao Ye and Duan Ni (Akram Khan Company), which is based on the rhythm of conversations recorded during rehearsals, and 'Weight x 3', a triptych of pieces that seek to reconnect the body with its creative abilities.
