John Betjeman Poetry Competition

Established by the family of former Poet Laureate, the John Betjeman Poetry Competition seeks to foster a love of poetry in young people. Children are invited to submit (by post or online) a poem on the theme of 'place'. There's a first prize of £1,000 and the winner is announced in October. Age 10-13.
