Powell-Cotton Museum

Young Percy Powell-Cotton made trips to some of the wildest parts of northern India, Tibet and Africa, and he brought back some fascinating materials that began the natural history collection at Quex Park. Upon his death in 1940, his son Christopher constructed additional galleries to display the family's collections of archaeology, ceramics and weaponry.
