Once known as Chipmunk before US rapper TI convinced him to change his stage name, young grime-pop hitmaker Chip started employing a more R&B-toned production style and roping in big-name US guests like Chris Brown on his last album ‘Transition’. But he kicked off 2015 with a track called ‘School of Grime’ featuring London dons D Double E and Jammer, so we’ve got high hopes that he’ll go back to his grime roots (at the ripe old age of 24) on his upcoming ‘Believe & Achieve’ EP series.
