His Notting Hill Carnival soundsystem is a roadblock sensation and with the ability to draw an up-for-it discerning party crowd wherever he lays his hat, you can bet Norman Jay will have them queuing round the block again. They've celebrated their thirtieth birthday this year, so expect their annual New Year's Eve party to be bigger and better than ever as they take over this Battersea theatre for a multi-sensory special. Mr Jay introduces a theatrical element to his party with interactive shenanigans and performers but, as usual, it's the musical mix that really makes this party swing: head to the main room where Norman will take you on a four hour journey of disco, house, funk and soul classics, joined by The Nextmen and Tom Middleton. Loud Minority host room two, meanwhile, and the one and only Gaz's Rockin' Blues adds vintage rock 'n' roll, R&B and ska to room three.
