Handel's 'Joshua'

St Peter's Singers directed by Duncan Aspden with Early Music soloists and instrumentalists present Handel's oratorio detailing Joshua's siege of Jericho taking every opportunity to exploit trumpet blasts, thunder and crumbling walls. The music culminates with the original iteration of the great chorus 'See the Conquering Hero Comes'.
