Hoquets

Genre-defying Belgian/American/French trio Hoquets (pronounced oh-kay) play unique instruments constructed from wooden boards, broken strings and tin cans and are hugely influenced by Congatronics groups like Staff Benda Bilili and Konono No 1. Adding humorous lyrics, punkish vocals, a barrage of percussion and some grungy guitar-ish riffs to the mix they create a pogoing, high energy sound.
