Natalie Williams/Phil Pesket Trio

Brilliant, yet mysteriously underrated, Anglo-Hungarian jazz singer-songwriter Williams knocks spots off most wannabe chanteuses by mixing serious jazz singing with sassy Aretha Franklin-styled soul and effortless charisma. She's scored a couple of R&B crossover hits with ''Lil Wiser' and 'This Girl' but it's in a jazz trio setting that her voice really shines. Second of two nights.
