Cult Italian producer/guitarist/DJ Conte remains a leading exponent of bossa-tinged acid jazz combined with film score cinematics and no shortage of heavy funk grooves. Making a rare UK appearance here, he's joined by a fine band that features emerging singing star Porter (hotly tipped by Gilles Peterson), who adds her sensual soul jazz vocals to this sophisticated musical mix.
