NME Awards Tour: Interpol + Temples + Royal Blood + Circa Waves

NME's annual springtime jaunt finishes in London tonight. In the headline slot are Interpol, the hugely influential New York band returning after a hiatus for their first UK shows in three years. Now a three-piece after the departure of imposing bassist Carlos D, they should play plenty of doomy early noughties favourites such as 'PDA' and 'Evil' as well as new stuff from their upcoming fifth album. A crowded and varied support bull includes psychedelic retro-fetishists Temples, bass-and-drums rock duo Royal Blood (the only rock act on the BBC's Sound of 2014 list) and spiky indie pop-rockers Circa Waves.
