The pianist-scholar Roy Howat performs Fauré's Nocturne No 6, Op 63; Chopin's Nocturne in E, Op 62 No 2; Chabrier's 'Mélancolie'; 'Idylle' (from Pièces pittoresques); Debussy's 'Brouillards'; 'La puerta del Vino'; 'Les fées sont d'exquises danseuses'; 'La terrasse des audiences du clair de lune'; and 'les tierces alternées' (Preludes, Book 2); and Chopin's Waltz in A flat, Op 42. (Note: at 12.15pm there is a pre-concert talk by Roy Howat on Debussy.)
