Rising star saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings leads the double drumming wallop of SOK with both Tom Skinner and Seb Rochford kicking out the beats with tuba dude Oren Marshall administering the low-end rumbles. Their tub-thumping style mash-up combines New Orleans, African, Caribbean and dub sounds with some scorching improv thrown in for good measure. Trumpeter Alex Bonney's electro jazz trio LF support.
