The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment under Trevor Pinnock, with violinist Kati Debretzeni and cellist Jonathan Manson, performs Haydn's Symphony No 6 in D ('Le matin'); Boccherini's Cello Concerto No 7 in G; Haydn's Overture to L'anima del filosofo (Orfeo ed Euridice); Johann Peter Salomon's Romance in D for violin and string orchestra; and Haydn's Symphony No 93 in D. (Note: Boccherini was an almost exact contemporary of Haydn, and was once referred to as 'Haydn's wife'. At 5.45pm, a pre-concert talk with OAE Leader Kati Debretzeni. QEH; free.)
