Not even worth the one star. Very disgusting service. I have never written any reviews before, but today their service disgusted me so much i had to write a review.
When me and my aunt when to eat at the restaurant with her toddler baby we were "Shuu" ed away like a dog. When we arrived at the restaurant there was a few groups of people waiting outside, we didnt mind waiting so we joined the quee. I noticed they had seats outside and people were waiting, i didnt know if they were being served or just waiting as they didnt even have menus. So i went in to ask one of the staff if we could be seated outside if the other people were just waiting. So i go in and ask this middle aged guy who is pretty sure the owner as ive seen him there all the time. I asked him " excuse me is the seat outside available or isit just waiting area?" He said very rudely I KNOW I KNOW. I was very confused and shocked at the way he was talking to me. And he made a hand gesture like he was shooing a dog. So i go outside and told my aunt this guy was being so rude to me. We decided to wait as we were really hungry. After about 30 min of waiting people front of us go inside, but this same guy came outside mumbling something rudely and went inside we didnt understand what he said so we kept waiting. He came outside again and shouted at us saying WE'RE FULL NO SPACE and kept pointing at the buggy and he shooed us again. We felt very disgusted at how he was treating us. Even before being served we were disgusted. How can you run a business with that attitude. If he just said nicely " im sorry we have no space for the buggy we would understand and go somewhere else no problem". But being shooed like a dog did not amuse us. Never again we i nor my family and friends will ever go to this place.
I am surprised this place is still in business - the staff are rude, food is poor and overpriced and the person in charge was more bothered about where to place the 3 large TV's and chatting on his phone to actually notice customers! We ordered Samgyupsal as it was on offer for £5.90 but then found out minimum order was 2 persons and you had to order rice separately no option of lettuce leave to wrap it in - it was the thinnest smallest portion ever and because we were in a rush to leave the place I hadn't realised they charged me £16.50 making the 1 tiny portion of dried up rice cost £4.80!!! Apart from the staff speaking in Korean - the whole experience would've put me off Korean food for life had I not been to Korea many times myself!
Went on a weekend , it was terribly busy and they were understaffed , waited half an hour to get inside then another half an hour to order and you guessed it another half and hour to get our food . Food taste was lacklustre and wasn't even deserving of the money we paid. So the only good thing about it was that it was halal , but in all honestly I wouldn't go there again.
I've been to this place for years and evertime I go there it gets worse than the time before. Bad customer service from the owner who requires cash before using karaoke room which increases the cost of it by double every year. I stopped going there and my friends and family stopped too.
As i am big fan of korean food and culture i decided to go here! but i was very disappointed---- unhelpful and rude staff! food was okay but too expensive! karaoke is too expensive - £70 per hour.....drink too expensive( small bottle of soju £12)....................in order to make it good/best korean restaurant they have to work really hard they must train their staff, keep food with reasonable price!
By far the worst Korean restaurant I have ever been to and I lived in Korea for 2 years. Unhelpful, argumentative staff, very poor food which would be over priced at half the cost with the ambiance of an A&E waiting room. I recommend you steer well clear.
We ordered kimchi pancake with seafood hot pot. The pancake was soggy,oily then the seafood hot pot wasn't the one we ordered. It was the cod hot pot so I asked to changed but no one apologised! We had to waited for 20mins for it so I expected good food served then watery hot pot appeared. Eventually when I paid for it they gave me the incorrect bill ,on top of that they charged the tip without asking. The card payment wasn't accpet - there was no problem with my card I used after my card in M&S- I need to paid by Cash! Rather stay home!
The attitude of owner is very horrible. When we made the card payment, he added £3 for tips without asking us. He just showed us the total amount and asked to press the pin. We left the extra coins for tips on the table as we didn't realise that he added already. He collected that coins also. So greedy man.
