Inside Design with Orsola de Castro, in conversation with Lucy Siegle

This hour long discussion is an opportunity to hear two eco-minded individuals knock heads about the fashion industry. Observer ethical columnist Lucy Siegle will discuss the history and success of Orsola de Castro’s ethically aware label-From Somewhere with the designer. The talk will concentrate largely on how retailers can be persuaded out of their bad manufacturing habits, with plenty of insight from De Castro, who was one of the first designers to address the issue of pre-consumer waste and how the fashion industry can recycle more efficiently. A must-attend for anybody interested in eco-fashion. An exhibition will also take place until June 20 2013.
