LCB Surf Store

LCB’s laid-back vibe and colourful, light interior hit just the right note for a surf shop. The store’s owners, Pete and Mark Lindsell, design and manufacture their own distinctive surfboards, the LCB E-series, from glass, Kevlar and carbon fibre, balsa and epoxy resin. The company also produces its own range of LCB clothing for older teens and adults up to 35. Rip Curl wetsuits, Burton snowboards and a range of skateboards round out the stock. There is also an in-store café that serves organic and free trade coffee and juices, with internet access and occasional board-related screenings/events. A new branch is set to open at Mile End Skatepark in 2010.
