Lingerie Française

A reveal-all exhibition that looks back over 100 years of French lingerie. Some 260 pieces of lingerie will feature in the space, counting designs by Aubade, Chantelle, Lise Charmel and many more. Exhibition-goers can educate themselves on French corsetieres and learn about the most important inventions of lingerie history, including the original bra, the girdle and the stretch-fabric corset. Video installations will play vintage ad footage and a so-called 'transforming-holographic striptease' aims to give you a two-minute lowdown on how the female silhouette has evolved over the last century.
